If AGW is real.

And globally emissions are going up, up and up.

Isn’t it time for OZ to deal with the inevitable upcoming effects of AGW and stop carrying on like the carbon tax will be some great elixir? Some magic tax that will “save our grand kids”?

Shouldn’t we start moving cities/towns/infrastructure away from the rising oceans?

Shouldn’t we start building massive water control and catchment infrastructure?

Shouldn’t we start to decrease sales of the fossil fuels that will surely help decimate large areas of our country and the world?

Shouldn’t we start to ease population growth so we can maintain a sustainable population?

Yes to most of the above. But given that even a relatively simple measure like implementing a tax has met with so much opposition, good luck to getting the rest of it done.
