First it was the compasionate Tony Abbott and Bernie Banton, know it is chair sniffing Troy Buswell
http://thedailyderp.net/2012/05/15/troy-buswell-covers-himself-in-glory-again/Buswell the member for Vasse, and current Minister For Transport in the Barnett government in W.A., made global headlines in 2008 when he admitted to sniffing a chair recently sat on by a female colleague, and “writhing in mock ecstasy”. He also admitted to snapping the bra strap of another female colleague ans squeezing the testicles of a male colleague. He was the Leader Of The Opposition at the time the scandal erupted.
Despite this behaviour, Colin Barnett chose to have Buswell in his cabinet as Treasurer after the Barnett led Liberal Party were elected in September 2008. By 2010 however Buswell was forced to resign from the cabinet after revelations that he was having an affair with the Greens member for Fremantle, Adele Carles.
Due to a complete lack of talent in the Liberal Party, Premier Barnett reinstated Buswell to the cabinet six months after he resigned, with the dual roles of Minister For Housing and Minister For Transport.
It’s in the latter role that a new scandal has emerged. It was revealed yesterday that a Perth woman who suffers from Type 1 diabetes, and needs a life saving assistance dog has been banned from using Perth’s buses and trains.
Despite being able to have her dog with her on national and international flights, as well as public transport in very other state in Australia, the woman, Anita Gustasson has had photos of her circulated to Transperth staff to stop her using Transperth’s services.
The dog which can detect changes in her blood sugar levels by scent and alert her. Ms Gustasson has had diabetes since infancy and can slip into a coma within minutes. Her dog Mika, has saved her life on numerous occasions.
Opposition health spokesman, Roger Cook, has asked Buswell to allow Ms Gustasson and Mika to use trains and buses in Perth, but for reasons best known to himself, Buswell has refused to allow it.
Ms Gustasson has engaged disability rights advocate Alex Van Oeveren to take the case to the federal Court on her behalf. Mr Van Oeveren said it was “the worst case of callous disregard for a critically ill woman” he had seen.
Buswell has refused to comment on the incident.
The Derp believes that there are no longer any excuses for having this serial arsehead in a cabinet position, and he must either resign – again, or be sacked.
