Does that include middle class welfare?

Like?

Baby Bonus.

Age Pensions

Tax breaks for companies

Political perks

etc etc etc

Should we just have random drug testing of all the population and anyone with drugs in their system are tasered on the spot.

Nice to know that the middle class has been expanded to include entire companies, all politicians regardless of personal wealth and of course those free-loading bastards the retired pensioner; most of which would be surprised to learn about their social and financial upgrade.

Millions of dollars of welfare payments ending up in the hands of drug dealers.
Is it time we introduce drug testing for welfare recipients?

Just legalise drugs and they can declare their incomes and get off the dole.

Piercings could be deducted as legitimate work uniforms.

All people on the dole should present at the dole office in a fit condition to obtain work right then and there.

Turn up dirty, dressed like a freak, face full of metal, under the influence etc and lose you payments.

They used to when it was the CES and they would get sent to an interview too, and more than likely score a job.

Times have a changed.

A client could turn up to the Sarina Russo office dressed 'ready for work' for four years and still not score an interview.

Why waste people's time just because they have plenty of it?

The question to ask is, why cant the job agencies match clients with employers?

Job agencies are, going by my short but painful experience a few years ago, pretty much useless.

You go there, they say “geez not much work around” and bingo, you get the dole because you turned up.

We're randomly drug tested at work - its part of US workplace culture.
I don't see the problem.

You want your tax money to be going to people who wouldn't spend it on drugs.
Hence randomly drugs test them.

The only people who would have a problem with it are those who do drugs.

Which is a different experience to my partner.

She walked in to a job agency and was being interviewed by an employer within half an hour and employed within 4 hours. She continued to use job agencies over the years always finding permanent positions within a few days or at most weeks.

Believe it or not, some people are employable and some are not and never will be. Why do you think we have to import labor when we still have hundreds of thousands of people on the dole.

I don't know about Australia, but it was a bit less stringent in the UK.

I took a year out between school and university and had a 6 month period where I wasn't doing much (I was only 19).

My parents told me to collect unemployment benefit because they had spent years paying in taxes so we should get stuff back.

I went along and then Blair brought in that rule that you had to prove you were looking for work.
I was a bit more honest after a while and said "Look mate I am going to university in Sept, I don't want to be looking for a job now because it's bloody July now"

His response? "Yeah fair enough, well put down you are looking and will attend 3 interviews between now and sept. That way they'll still pay you"

Boom. I didn't get much from memory though - it wasn't exactly lottery winning stuff!

So in my experience, it's a complete rort anyway!!  Grin

Dumbarse Liberals are missing out taxing Greens that do drugs.

Dumbarse Liberals are missing out taxing the black economy.

Dumbarse Liberals are just dumbarses.

Excellent idea, we need new innovative clean green industry to create jobs.

No CERT III in drug selling studies or traineeships to get the job though. Keep it simple.

Methods and chemicals used to make drugs are not exactly environmental.

The Government are the dealers, they just want to bring it out in the open and tax it.  Western Governments have been pushing vice on Aboriginal peoples and working class whites around the world since the world began...its the oldest scam in the book.  Get the Vice industries out of our communities and tell them to choke on their own filth. Cool
