A Liberal support Non Voluntary Euthanasia ... while opposing Greens Voluntary Euthanasia.

And they still don't understand why so many think these right wingers are hypocrites.

I didnt like his politics but the old fella isnt too bad as a person. He fought pretty hard for unions back in the 70s but then he fought against them later. Bit like that midnight oil fellow really. Hawkie has character though.

Oh yeah he is a real stand-up character who looked after the Unions when he became PM.

My father and his colleagues were seeking to have their pay brought into line with their international colleagues and a fair pay rise.

What happened?
Hawke (the worker's man supposedly) sold them out and left them high and dry.

My old man lost his entire superannuation as a result and we upped sticks and had to move to Hong Kong for him to get a new role with a non-Aussie company.

Fking disgraceful episode which showed Hawke up to be the sell-out pr*ck he is.

Yeah I know. I said that in fact. I was being kinda sarcastic about the character - as in beer swilling aussie.

Yes, the disruption to my family for which this PM is directly responsible is something that will sit with us for a long time.

Bob Hawke.
It's one of the very very few times in my life I have heard my father drop the C-bomb when referring to someone.

He usually hardly swears.
