David was just fantastic, he seemed to breath the part, but for me the doctor that brought me to the following was Jon Pertwee.

Yeah DAvid was good. Out of the old doctors I didnt like colin baker much. Favorite was Jon Pertwee and of course Tom Baker.

For me Jon Pertwee was the Doctor.

Tom Baker became the Doctor. (maybe best)

Christopher Eccleston & David Tennant were both excellent.

Your age is showing.

Actually my family didnt have a TV until I was 12. I dont remember who the doctor was when I started watching but I expect it was pertwee. Why else would he be my favorite?

Have you seen the movies? Or the original dr who episode? With the granddaughter and the basement? He wasnt even from gallifrey!
