Labor has lost control of our borders

A sixth people smuggling boat has been intercepted this week by the Navy carrying 84 people. At this rate, Gillard will be kicking ordinary Aussies out of their own homes to accomodate these country-shopping illegal immigrants! Both Gillard and Bowen must hang their heads in shame over their complete failure to secure our borders. One must wonder when will Labor wake up and realise that:

(a) The Labor Party created this mess
(b) There is no one
to blame for this mess other than themselves
(c) The only option available to them is to resurrect the Pacific Solution in order to smash the business model of people smugglers

By what measure can the Pacific Solution ever be considered a failure? It stopped the boats - period. Just six illegal immigrants in detention when Rudd won office. Since then, more than 17,000 on more than 300 boats have arrived.

There were 4 boat people in detention when labor dismantled the policy that stopped the boats.

The detention centre statistics prove it worked yet the ignorant leftists ignore these facts as there were less than 500 people in detention from January 06 to January 09 compared to the 6000+ we have today.
