Well when you thought the Thomson affair couldnt get worse... it just did. Just when you think that the ALP and Thomson couldnt screwup this scandal worse than they already have, they do.

Truly unbelievable.

The scandal has been brewing for over 5 years and NOW he comes up with this truly unbelievable excuse that he was set up? All he is doing is making matters far, far worse for himself. The evidence that he used hookers is substantial and the polic who investigated it confirmed that it did indeed happen. And I suppose he is going to try and lay the blam on the misappropriation of $500,000 on someone else as well despite the fact that he was the one who personally spent it?

I am gobsmacked by just how incredibly stupid this new excuse is. It is beyond daft. It is below the standard excuse of a 6yo caught stealing biscuits from his mothers pantry.

Welll Windsor wants to support him. Let's see how he feels after 30minutes of Thomson claiming it 'wasnt me' and defaming someone else in the process.

and this is the crazy fool that Gillard is protecting??? If you are going to risk your political future on another person then you shoudl ensure that person is worthy of it. Just another bad judgement call from Giilard.

Yes..thats why Labor is in government.
Abbott would probably have got the independents onside if he had behaved more professionally after the election instead of threatening them.
Abbott only has himself and the LNP to blame for being in opposition
