We can't handle the truth. Corporate and governmental corruption must remain hidden. We are safe with the Murdoch press.

Media is a business that must make a profit and make share holders happy. The truth is relative to the profit margin. Similar problems exist with insurance companies, they take our money to insure us but there priority is to the share holder not the policy holder. The media are ment to investigate and reveal truth but they actually serve the political and financial interest of their owners.

Apathy and defeatism does not help either - you should be ever vigilant to fighting apathy and corporate suckholes, exposing corruption and demanding accountability and impact on decision making, otherwise you yield the floor to them. Resisters are an ongoing annoyance to them too.
