No, intercepting more than 300 boats is a failure of epic proportions! Howard had hardly any to deal with during the Pacific Solution because it was an extremely effective policy, while Gillard has the Navy run off its feet with a massively ineffective policy.

online polls which are by defininion pretty unreliable show figures of 85-95%. Galaxy polled this very question and found the result to be 60%. thats a pretty significant number. 60% of the voting population wanting a new election is a pretty huge indictment on the ALP considering that it includes actual ALP voters!

Oh, I get it! This is the classic 'shoot the messenger' ploy. If your argument is that polls are worthless, despite being exceptionally accurate then really, your opinion on the topic isnt even as good as an online poll. They at least have SOME value, if not much, while dissing professional polls has no value at all - a bit like your opinion.

Really? Who would have guessed? I was sure that Galaxy polled every voter in the country. How could they otherwise be so accurate? Or is there a possible other explanation, known as 'sampling protocol'?
