You can't take a massive subject of immigration and decide all is good or all is bad.

It's not like that.

I am pro-immigration of skilled migrants from culturally cohesive backgrounds.

I am anti-unskilled immigration of people and those who would be unsuitable to the Australian way of life.

Australia needs skilled migrants.
There should be open door for skilled migrants who pass criteria.
It benefits the country, them and the economy as a whole as well as business.

Very true--

We should be able to choose whom we bring into the country not have boatloads of Welfare recipients thrust upon us.

People Smuggling is a crime so anyone paying for passage to smugglers are accessories to the crime.

Remember that one is prosecuted for buying stolen goods from a thief?

(even if one pleads "I didn't know that is had been stolen!"

Immigration breeds welfare entitlement, business wants to avoid the real cost of training people through apprenticeships and through their madness and immigration policies we have gone from one of the most skilled healthy productive nations on earth to the most unskilled and unhealthy impoverished nation on earth. Skilled migration is all bad for the economy. for business and for the nation. If we stoped the migration program now it will still take us 200 years to recover economically and get our citizens skill level, physical health and quality of life back to where it once was.

Remember the lucky country and the bronzed Aussie? Immigration turned him into the poor, unskilled third world tubby Aussie
