Iraqi women and cucumbers
Apr 23rd, 2012 at 11:12pm

I know it's old news, but I thought I would post it anyway....

Quote:
Al-Qa'eda is losing support in Iraq because of a brutal crackdown on activities it regards as un-Islamic - including women buying cucumbers.

Besides the terrible killings inflicted by the fanatics on those who refuse to pledge allegiance to them, Al-Qa'eda has lost credibility for enforcing a series of rules imposing their way of thought on the most mundane aspects of everyday life.

They include a ban on women buying suggestively-shaped vegetables, according to one tribal leader in the western province of Anbar.

Sheikh Hameed al-Hayyes, a Sunni elder, told Reuters: "They even killed female goats because their private parts were not covered and their tails were pointed upward, which they said was haram.

"They regarded the cucumber as male and tomato as female. Women were not allowed to buy cucumbers, only men."

Other farcical stipulations include an edict not to buy or sell ice-cream, because it did not exist in the time of the Prophet, while hair salons and shops selling cosmetics have also been bombed."

If male goats are allowed to flaunt their hairy bits, then why do Muslim men wear trousers / long robes? Women stand directly behind goats when herding them.

Surely if they slaughtered all the female goats, in a few more years there would not be many goats left in Iraq.  Doesn't seem like a very bright thing to do.

Why pick on the goats anyway?  There must be plenty of other female animals whose genitalia are visible.  Maybe the female goats were too much of a temptation for the men that looked after them....

Islam has punishments of 100 lashes or stoning for consenting adults having sex outside of marriage.

This is what the Quran says about having sex with animals-
Quote:
..

There is a hadith-
Abu Dawud 38:4450- There is no prescribed punishment for one who has sexual intercourse with an animal.

Islam has severe punishments for consenting adults who have sex outside of being married which makes sex with animals attractive since that has no punishment.

Simach Masgoof is a national dish of Iraq, it is smoked carp, a bit of trivia for you.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

I can't help but snigger when I buy a cucumber.

Perhaps it's just me.

Whenever I see a woman buying two, I always ask if she's going to eat the other one.

Didn't the last muslim/cucumber story turn out to be a bit of a porky?

I think they get trotted out from time to time just to get Mr and Mrs Prole's knickers in a knot.

Apparently, it's very common, everywhere. I somehow think that clandestine sex is a lot more common than bestialty.
Quote:
The Kinsey reports controversially rated the percentage of people who had sexual interaction with animals at some point in their lives as 8% for men and 3.6% for women, and claimed it was 40–50% in people living near farms,[14] but some later writers dispute the figures, because the study lacked a random sample in that it included a disproportional amount of prisoners, causing sampling bias. Martin Duberman has written that it is difficult to get a random sample in sexual research, and that even when Paul Gebhard, Kinsey's research successor, removed prison samples from the figures, he found the figures were not significantly changed.[15]

Anything from the Telegraph should be taken with a grain of salt. It's called bar-room journalism. If the paper is short of a few filler stories, the journos will head off the bar, and after a few drinks, they'll come up with some copy.

A search on Google for 'porn featuring beastiality' produced 4,370,000 hits . Porn featuring homosexuality produced 5,830,000 hits. Porn featuring vegetables 8,260,000 hits.

I'm not sure what this tells me, but I'm glad to be growing my own vegetables. I might put in a security camera.  Grin
