Good old soccer

I see the divers were at it again today.

Brisbane Roar win the A League final on a penalty from some wanker who takes a dive and an even stupider ref who lapped up the performance.

No review.....schit result..schit game... Sad

I am disgusted with the Amature league.....The referee should never have given the penalty and should be sacked....What a waste of everyone's time!!!

It was a good game spoilt by play acting.

I'm not much of a soccer fan (can you tell? Wink) but the pansy play acting by the elite players is embarrassing.  They belong in pink tights on the stage not on a sports field. Angry

You'd think the game, players and the officials in this country would have learnt from the Aust / Italian World Cup debacle some years back.... Sad

A video review would have salvaged the match (WHY don't they have them?) and well....the Diver should have been sent off for cheating.

The game must be losing many fans because of this BS tactic... Sad

I am not so sure if the bloke dived or he just missed the ball and lost his balance.....Crap decision from a crap Ref though.....Either way it was a poor way to decide a grand final!!!

Turns out the ref is the boyfriend of a "brisbane roar staff member.

But, FA got the result they wanted - so no investigation will be required.

The world game.

I don't know about this specific game, last I recall I placed the A League on a par with League 1 in the UK.

But the sport itself is better than any.
