OK, I have become aware of an unfortunate trend developing, where members are making suggestive and inappropriate slurs, about other members either engaging in or being supportive of inappropriate behaviour, namely, pedophilia.

I appreciate that topics can see tempers rise, and with that the rise in insults can sometimes cross the line of what we should be reasonably considered to accept as part of the argey bargey of political debate, and we should all try and keep that in mind, when we post.

However, the issue of pedophilia is an incredibly serious, and damaging problem, and it is definitely not something that should be thrown around lightly, especially for something as petty as point scoring in some political debate.

So, while there may be occasions where the subject is relevant to a particular topic, and discussing it in those circumstances is understandable, at all other times I think it is better that we all just leave it alone.

So, with that in mind, I will look very unfavourably upon any member who chooses to use an accusation of engaging in, or supporting pedophilia, about anyone, be theu politicians, public figures, or other members of this forum.
The only exception would be if they had unimpeachable evidence, which supported their statements.

So, please try and be as respectful as you can to other members, and keep any insults to a minimum, and definitely stay away from any which suggest inappropriate conduct of a criminal, or sexually inappropriate nature.
