There were 4 boat people in detention when the labor party with their myopic leader dismantled the policy that stopped the boats.

This is now a billion dollar debacle and rising, a billion dollar black hole the labor government did not budget for.

83.5% of these boat people are still on welfare up to 5 years ater arriving and then we include medicare,dept of housing, edcation costs and the taxpayers will be footing the bill for labor's stuff up for many years to come.

Not sure what your on about, but we do have an immigration quota ... if the government sets the figure at 100 000 per year, and we get 15 000 asylum seekers, they allow 85 000 in through skills and family visa's , if we get 1 asylum seeker, they'll allow 99 999 skill and family visa applicants in ... you said something about no brain?

So those who come in illegally by boat take the places from those who do the right thing in trying to come here legally ?

Would that make these people que jumpers?

A genuine refugee would have no reason to dispose of their passport which could prove they are genuine.

What queue?The initial quota is set with the intention that a portion of it be used for asylum seekers... if we get one asylum seeker, you can argue that the skilled visa applicants are queue jumping ...
