Joyce makes a fool of himself, again
Feb 28th, 2012 at 11:00pm

Anybody who watched Q&A last night would have seen Barnaby Joyce take a question regarding the Coalitions 70 billion dollar black hole in its costings. Tony Jones kept on pushing him for a direct answer, and all Barnaby could do was change the subject to the Carbon Tax.

You have to watch it for yourself to know how pathetic it made him look, so I would encourage you to do so.

Joyce is a typical of someone who speaks his mind.....The problem is his mind is full of crap so it reflects what he says....Joyce is not someone I would listen to when you need a considered well thought opinion.....He is on the extremist fringe or reality IMO!!!

It is the sort of performance that we see a lot from coalition and why i believe that if Gillard can turn the attention to the coalition they will be sunk in six months. He was disjointed and right off subject for most of the night, you could see he was worried that a question might be asked about the noalition.

Yes, now Labor should be able to get their shite together, they can help Greens focus on the weakness across coalitions positioning on a lot of thinking.

What about Barnaby blaming Labor for Nationals inability to communicate their ideas to the public. What was Joyce doing in front of the television, if he wasn't able to bring coalition ideas into the qanda conversation.

Like the base of this thread ~ how to fix a 70 billion black hole coalition has backed itself in to.

That was because I think the audience was made up with approximately 49% coalition voters, 33% labor voters and 13% Greens.

(Qanda twittered the figures)

and we all know coalition supporters are obsessed with Gillard at the moment so construct their questions around her

BARNABY JOYCE: Well, first of all, we lost the election because we did had control of both and then what happened then was WorkChoices went through and we lost and we accept the admonishment of the Australian people and now the Green/Labor Party/Independent alliance has control of both houses and they’re going to destroy themselves with a carbon tax. Now, with the black hole issue that you’ve just brought up, it’s not a $70 billion black hole.

TONY JONES: How big is it?

MULTIPLE SPEAKERS TALK AT ONCE

TONY JONES: Seriously, have you got a final figure in the tens of billions?

PETER BEATTIE: It’s 65.

BARNABY JOYCE: That is an association to the revenue stream.

CHRISTINE MILNE: Well, what is it? What is it?

BARNABY JOYCE: Well, if you took out, for instance, the carbon tax, we’d actually make money.

CHRISTINE MILNE: No. No. What is it?

BARNABY JOYCE: If you took out the you're the only people who have brought...

CHRISTINE MILNE: No. No. No. How are you paying for everything (indistinct)...

PETER BEATTIE: You wonder why Australia disillusioned with politics.

BARNABY JOYCE: Well, I could answer if you’d stop talking.

CHRISTINE MILNE: Well, how?

TONY JONES: Okay.

BARNABY JOYCE: But anyway and if you got rid of the carbon...

TONY JONES: Barnaby Joyce, just a simple answer.

BARNABY JOYCE: Okay.

TONY JONES: I it is not $70 billion, what is it?

CHRISTINE MILNE: What is it?

BARNABY JOYCE: We would actually you’d actually make money if you got rid of the carbon tax ...

TONY JONES: Okay. All right.

MULTIPLE SPEAKERS TALK AT ONCE

TONY JONES: I’m predicting we're not going to get an answer so I’m going to move along to our next question, which comes from

The coalition have no answers to any of the rubbish they sprout.
Its all about appealing to vague simpletons that respond to negative messages that are short on facts and never ask any questions.

Certain nights are not to bad if the panel is good. But on the whole Tony jones has no control over the debate and allows the politicians to push their barrows no matter what side they are from. the forum should be extracting opinions on the issues that are of relevance, and at the moment that isn't Australian politics.
