What does Gillard need to do or promise?

The ALP 2PP votes are down. It only lifted 2 points after Rudd announce his candidacy. Now that ship's sailed - there's only Gillard and only pain for the party faithful

She what does she need to say or do to get your votes.

For me - there's really nothing that she can say or do.

This is like the 1993 election all over again.

Unless Abbott blew it big time like Hewson did - then Gillard's gone.

So what can Gillard do?

Commentators are saying she needs to communicate her achievements better. I disagree - no one is listening. Everytime she highlights her achievements - it's stiffled by "There will be no carbon tax under a government I lead"

She definitely does not want to be caught saying that she promises anything. That will just piss people off as the whole idea of politicians and promises has now become the unattainable.

Mostly Gillard needs no internal issues no scandals and bed down all policy they have on the table now without disaster. Simply take this year quiet. No new big policy items just quiet stable not noticeable government. Then next year attack a vulnerable Abbott when it is too late to change or if they do dump him straight to the polls.
