Satan is not a monotheist. Satan disobeyed and disrespected the command of God, thus presuming to place himself as an equal to God.

Satan falsely believes himself to be equal to God, thus commits polytheism.

A form of worship is obedience and submission. Satan obeyed himself over God, this is polytheism.

And, if there is no God?
