And that's another thing. The government should not be in the business of providing education. Why should we pay to teach the blacks how to read?

To posters of the calibre of Anthrax, Meat, JaSignature and all those other Left Wing Basket Weavers who are dumping on the Australian flag, this is for you.

Because of previous generations fighting for the freedom of this Country under that wonderful flag of ours, you are in the cosy position of being able to sit there and pretty well write what you like.

None of you have the first idea of what it is to go to war and fight someone who wants to blow your head off. You hope you go for the right reasons and you fight under that beautiful Australian flag of ours.

You people are a disgrace and you shame the memory of the solders, airmen and navy personnel that fought under that very flag for your freedom.

What happened at Canberra was disgraceful, when emergency service personnel were being awarded for their honour, duty and bravery these aboriginal assholes  were pounding on the windows.

They had been fed bullsh.t by an Aboriginal Left Wing Unionist who had in turn been fed bullsh.t by Gillard's own staff. It badly backfired for Gillard.

However the subsequent events of the next day will go down as a black day for the memory of every Australian who has died fighting under that flag.

You assholes wouldn't know the first thing of what it is to fight in a war. You also have no memory of the sacrifices that men and women made fighting under that very flag so that you could enjoy the freedoms that you enjoy today.

By your comments you are the worst kind of filth, traitors and cowards, I have heard from for a long time.

If you have the guts, pick up Peter Fitzsimmons books on Kokoda and Tobruk and read about what wonderful men and women did fighting under that flag for their country.

More than you useless assholes will ever do in your entire lifetimes.

Calling people names just makes you look rather silly and childish.

With or without the flag, Australian soldiers would have fought.  This is something you need to understand.

Your "argument" and childish rantings are completely irrational.

You're being over dramatic.

Recognising the flag for what it is has absolutely nothing to do with true patriotism. Save your anger for the people who cheapen the flag by turning it into napkins to wipe up spills on Australia Day.

Would you have fought for Australia if it were a desert with a lone flag flying in the wind? Or would you have fought for your fellow Australians no matter what the flag looked like?

My uncle is an officer in the RAAF and my brother is in the Norwegian military. I'll be sure to ask them, but I'm pretty sure they both appreciate the flag of any country for what it is.
