Green Philosophy

I recently read this book by Roger Scruton. It makes quite a refreshing change from established thought. One of the conclusions was that grandiose international treaties quite often have a negative effect. He sees climate change as an extremely serious threat, and his solution, which is the obvious solution in my mind, is to encourage more renewable energy.

Apart from that, he talks about how EC regulations have totally decimated certain local industries in the UK, such as farm abbatoirs.

I don't agree with his views on nuclear power and the NIMBY attitude, but definitely impeccably well written and worth a read.
