The Nobel peace prize winning puppet Obama has recently signed a bill called the NDAA (National defence Authorisation Act) which makes it legal to incarcerate American citizens for an unlimited amount of time without any due legal process or charge. The same bill also makes it legal for the government to torture American citizens who have never been charged of a crime.

What do you people think about this?
Considering Australia usually follows the USA’s lead its possible we could have these laws very soon (I suspect the Libs will bring it in because they are probably going to win the election).
What would you think/do if they made this law in Australia? Pretty scary thought right, the government can take you away for the rest of your life without ever charging you of a crime or even telling your family what’s happened.

The US also passed a new bill which gives the government the right to strip any US citizen of their citizenship without any charge or reason.. If the person is only a citizen of the US, then what? Technically they would not have any rights.

Another crazy law coming to Australia soon (already in NZ) makes it a government right and public privilege  for people to grow their own food, collect rainwater and collect seeds

pity that your interpretation of this law is complete crap garnered from some redneck extermist website.

you really are an idiot.

Makes sense a dickhead like you would support these laws.
How do you interpret them?

so you really think a bill to legalise torture and indefinite detention of uncharged americans would pass without any comment by america (and the worlds') media??? did the absolute silence not make you wonder??

you belive anything - just like wharfy and bll-crany and the rest of the insane conspiracy theorists.  SOPA (a real bill) that is far less draconian that this nonsense received massive opposition and was defeated.

you ARE and idiot because you are more gullible than shoudl be legally allowed.

This bill is legitimate:

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/americas/2011/12/2011121643213177164.html

It didn’t make much news but that’s not surprising, f’d up laws pass all the time without people raising an eyebrow.
Do you really believe the mainstream media exposes the real issues?

So what do I believe ey?
Not a conspiracy theorist, I just review the facts.
SOPA due to its timing seemed to be a bit of a head turner from the ndaa because it did receive some online attention, once sopa came out people forgot about it.

So who is the idiot?

find the reference to TORTURE, gaddafi-lover.

Haha couldn’t just admit you were wrong.

Torturer lover

and when i mock you claiming you read extremist redneck websites what does an idiot liek you do? quotes and extremist redneck website!

not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?

Mate, you know you were wrong.. Stop trying to fight an argument you lost 10 years ago.
RT is russian so I dont see how its redneck. But if msm wont talk about it clearly there is a problem with what you would consider 'good' sources.

Ron Paul: Believer in 9/11 conspiracy theories. Wants to trim US$1tril off the Federal budget in one year, wants to exit NATO, wants an isolationist US, wants to cut foreign aid to zero, if it ain't the blacks that's causing all the probs then it's the jews, wants to end all federal forms of welfare and move them onto the states, pro home-schooling, anti abortion, wants prayer back in schools, wants to move all responsibility for education onto districts.....

Bangs on endlessly about "big government", yet the US hasn't got that many more public servants (federal, state and local) that here and we have 1/15th the population.

Hardcore cheer material for Tea Party nutters, but I don't buy it.

Ok, I'll call it.....

A nutjob.

Time to get schooled by someone who actually knows what he’s talking about!
1.      Ron Paul does not believe in 911 conspiracy theories.. He believes that the US foreign policy prompted its enemies to attack them.
2.      The US is in roughly 15 trillion dollars of debt which is unpayable at current levels of spending. Cutting a trillion from the budget is what any responsible president would do and in fact it is probably not even enough.
3.      NATO serves no purpose because they act as the US army anyway.. They are also responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people.
4.      Please stop using msm terms such as isolationist unless you can tell us how.
5.      Foreign aid is a flawed system.. As he says its ‘takes money from the poor in the US and gives it to the rich in the 3rd world’ which is true. He wants to fix the problems that make these countries poor rather then throw money at the issue which does not help.
6.      He is not racist and I would like you to prove that he is.. Those newsletters weren’t even written by him and were not seen by him for decades after they were made.
7.      Once again he aims to fix the problems rather then throw money at the result of the problems. Like preventing the cancer rather than curing it.
8.      Once again it’s all following the constitution which is LAW in America.
9.      He is not for prayer in schools
10.      By districts you mean states and that is how America is meant to operate. Now the states have no power and he wants to change that so the people actually have a say rather then living in a dictatorship.

Look how a semi nut job worked out last time.

So you would rather support Gingrich or Romney or Obama??? HAHAHAHAHA
they are the real nutjobs
Ron Paul is not a nut job. He follows the constitution 100%. He has never changed his mind on an issue and is 100% consistent.

Ever read the Australian Novel or seen the film, 'Tomorrow When the War Began'. Do yourself a big favour and hire it. When  was in the R.A.A.F. we were taught that THE BIG THREAT is Indonesia.

Nothing has changed since my air force days to change that scenario.

Do not think that could not happen?

It is only in the last couple of years that documents from the WW2 archives revealed that Darwin was far more heavily bombed than Pear Harbour.

Of course the authorities didn't reveal that to the public nor did they reveal about the Brisbane Line' where we would have retreated to before taking on the Japs had they landed.

The Politicians told you nothing then and it has only gotten worse since then.
Indonesia has a HUGE army, along with the Philippines they would be unstoppable.
In the WW3 scenario we would be stuffed along with the US. Our enemies are huge and once the war starts I don’t doubt more nations would jump in their defence.
Russia, China, India, Phillipines, Indonesia, North Korea, Iran.. We wouldn’t stand a chance.

It has been a long time since number of recruits was the deciding factor in the outcome of a war.

A lot of this war would be fought in the middle east/ europe.
Its not going to be all about nukes because the area would be flooded left and right
