TV Series - Homeland

This show seems to be highly regarded by just about everyone.  Americans go crazy over it.

I missed the Sunday night screening: too busy.

So, I watched the Tuesday night repeat (with every intention of enjoying it).

I've gotta say, I wasn't impressed: just another piece of American cliched nonsense (even though it's based on an Israeli series).

Am I the only one who didn't like it?  (I get the feeling I am)

It is starting slowly, but has enough nutters and conspiracies to keep me going, I'm in.

Yes, it certainly started slow.
I battled through the first 20 minutes hoping things would improve: they didn't.

I just found some of the dialogue so unbelievably cliche and predictable.

Just not my cup of tea, but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Re the female lead, I have a question? How does she stay awake? She goes to work all day and watches Sarge all night on the hidden cameras n his house.

Is it those little green pills she is taking for her psychosis? No wonder she is psychotic - she never goes to bloody sleep!

Just a piece of expensive propaganda relating to the new laws which make it legal for the US government to torture and detain US citizens indefinitely without any charge ever being laid.
Don’t watch this crap people.
It might be entertaining on a TV show but this stuff is reality and the US government has recently admitted to assassinating many US citizens without trial.

P.S. this is usually the point where normal civilizations start standing up for themselves

Yep, I agree with most of your post except I don't think the show was even entertaining.

Glad to see someone else thinks it's crap.
