i really don't know what your idea of a 'racist' is
Imperium, you're a textbook racist. You believe the white man is superior to all others and want racial segregation and exclusion. Unlike other racists, you've even got a theory to back it up.
And that's YOUR idea of a racist, not mine. I don't get it. If you've travelled it means you've met and spent time with others. You're not deluded by neocon ideology like Soren and Yadda, so why would you seek to exclude and discriminate against people you hardly know?
This isn't an attack, I'm trying to understand. In my own experience, I've travelled, lived and worked with people from other races and cultures my whole life. Of course I see diffeences between cultures, but the idea of hanging out with what you call my own kind makes absolutely no sense to me. I work with Indians, Chinese, Aboriginals, Europeans and can't imagine anything different. Because of this, I'm always amazed when I go overseas and see people from the same religion, language and culture living in the same place together. I forget that, to most in the world, an outsider like a white man is a complete novelty. And I haven't experienced racism either. Perhaps I'm just lucky.
I can't fathom why you would seek to exclude someone based on something ike their race. Honky, I understand. Essentially, he fears difference. Soren too - like many immigrants, he turns his nose up at the latest wave. In his case, the Musemann, although anyone will do.
And again, I'm not saying anything they haven't said themselves.
But if what you say is true, I can't for the life of me understand why you would find the cause of racism so important - and it is important to you.
You're a nice guy. You should be out enjoying the company of others, not looking for reasons and theories about why they're somehow inferior to you.
I assme something's happened that's scarred you in some way. Either that, or you've grown up in an incredibly xenophobic culture.
Let me tell you though: it's not a universal state of human existance. It's hatred, fear, or both. When there is nothing to fear or hate.
If there is, please let me know. I keep asking this, but nobody wants to tell me.
