Should we abolish corporate law and limited liability and allow unions to negotiate collective bargaining agreements directly & with individual employers, owners, shareholders, politicians and other organized greed and economic aggression trolls?  Grin

Don't Unions already do this?

I suppose they don't actually negotiate....... they intimidate and blackmail but that's pretty close.... Sad

As long as we do two other adjustments -

1) Make the company or corporations directors directly responsible for any illegal or negligent act committed by their business.

2) Remove all and any availability or functional levers for corporations to recieve government social security/handouts/subsidies.

3) Make any penalties for illegal acts committed equal to an individuals.

4) Make corporations totally transparent in all the activites that they conduct in Australia/through Australia.

5) Remove all RIGHTS under the Corporate Law/Constitution if you're going to remove all responsibilities

Very pertinent points, but I was really talking about dismantling the organizational capacity of the corporate organism completely to prevent it operating in the destructive economically aggressive function it does and  replacing it with much more direct, democratic relations between Unions and the individual manager who has been stripped of unnecessary regulation such as limited liability - while being made subject to the strict civilized regulatory responsibilities and safeguards you mention. I misread suggestion. It was really only after I replied/ranted that I digested your suggestion. I apologise. I blurt (become reationary) on occassion. I never really felt I could apply an ísm'to myself until recent times and quite by accident discovered I'm rfered to as "an anti-neo coporatist"  lol

So I am not in disagreement with your line of thinking. In fact I necessarily of the understnadfing that the reason managers are paid such extravagent sums , as the are, is to take On the responsibilities you've outlined when dealing with Unions.

It's interesting to note that corporations and unions essentially have the same relative organisational features with divergent, in fact diametric aims for each of their consituentency. I wonder how corporations might feel if the goverment of the day reversed the application of the restrictive laws applied to unions and their members and applied them to the managerial arm and shareholders of a corporation such that a businesses amanger couldn't make representative views to the workers through work time or that access and entr to workers is limited to speaking/communicating through the shop steward. Or if the company stopped paying the correct or decent amount of wages the shareholders of a company could have their possessions taken away by court order. The list go on. It is one of the reasons I believe that unions should in fact elect to become a corporation. It might sound strange but there would be an increase in legal rights before the law for the organisation and it's "shareholders"..............

Sort of do to the business community in effect to what the business community did to the labour party by subsidising the right-wing ALP and it's neo-corp goblins into getting parlimentary positions of power and influence. The ALP and it's members could do well to shed right-wing nut jobs like Keating and the other flat-earthers.

I'm always impressed with the capacity of intelligent rebuttals, and then there's remarks like yours that turn a discussion into a knuckledragging pissing contest. Pardon my scope of the english language, as I'm finding it difficult to interprete your grunts and moans into something resembling intelligible sentences that contain some form of logical content. Can you try and reform your mumbling incantation into something coherent enough that I get to see past your emotional kneejerk into the guts of your contention?

Specifically upon what sort of premise are your depending upon to suggest that either myself or corporate_whitey are promoting the return to subsistence economy. ie not all cats are black - -  savvy old boy?

corporate law is the cornerstone brought about

unto humanity by the satanic freemasonic order

which is an attempt to circumvent common law..

which is still in effect if you invoke as much
