Who's wanted a moderator every five minutes? Log_me_in's post was exceptional and I reported it. That's not requiring a mod every five minutes. I reported it to Longy who ignored it. You can tell he ignored it because he posted after it without mentioning it. I sent a PM to FD. He requested that I start this thread here to discuss it.

When are you going to stop putting the owner and this forum down? So far it's been tolerated, but there will be some complaints shortly if it continues. It is not a good look for members or visitors to see this constant denigration of a person who goes to a lot of trouble and expense keeping this place open and active.

In regard to the "cage" it was only ever spec built for one member only - and that was you. It was trialled on two forums and declared successful. Maybe we should build another one here in order to subdue the dissenters?

It would ease the burden on the moderators significantly.

Thanks Smithy. I do want to make clear that I have no problem with abuse directed at me or any within normal boundaries. I did have a real fear that the posts in question held serious ramifications for the forum under the law.

I'm still unsure after reading this. I swayed one way and another more than once.
