National Press Club Address
Nov 10th, 2011 at 5:13pm

Well i have my doubts about actors and such getting more say on political issues than the rest of us. But listening to Deborah Lee Furness was a privilege. I don't think the press club ever had a better speaker with a stronger grasp of their subject, (adoption practices) bloody awesome.

Watching daytime ABC on a weekday. That's what passes for anarchism nowadays. It is a courageous, edgy, transgressive act of rubbing the toffs' noses in it, innit?

As a regular 8 posts a day man I doubt your in a position to throw stones at time wasters Imp  Grin. Come on I don't watch every press club address but some are very interesting. For instance it was Gillards totally off the cuff, spirited defence of Simon Crean a few years back that marked her as a future leader. Pity about the dour Mr. Crean he probably was the best person for the job, apart from being incapable of selling himself.

Still got Toady with you I see, despite your best efforts to scratch him off  Grin
