Ignatius Rigor, who studies Arctic ice and climate at the University of Washington, has created an animation showing how the oldest thickest sea ice has been progressively flushed from the Arctic Ocean over the last two decades.

The single highest emitter of carbon in the world is rotting vegetation, by a country mile.

Perhaps Julia Gillard should put a Carbon Tax on the rotting vegetation in this Country, just not sure how she is going to collect it.

And your point here is what? Rotting vegetation certainly does release more greenhouse gases (methane and carbon dioxide) than human activity. This has been happening since vegetation appeared on earth, and for just as long those emissions have been absorbed by growing vegetation and oceans. By the time we arrived nature had worked out it's own equilibrium. It has been the extra carbon that we have been removing from underground coal, oil and gas deposits, that has created the runaway growth in atmospheric CO2.

Time after time it has been shown to you that the arguments that sustain your skepticism are nothing more than propagandistic canards. Yet your faith doesn't appear to waiver. Are you actually putting any thought into this?

You are wasting your time MOTR. These people don't understand the carbon cycle no matter how many times it is explained to them.

The skeptics aren't interested in the science, it is all about scoring political points for them.
