Because western countries have better political culture. Just like so many western companies go to China to do business. Because there are more chance to earn money.

Any difference? People go for their own interest. I come here for a better political structure, for a more pure-hearted life and the cost is my chance to earn more money. Fair enough.

There has been a society here before your arrival, created by people you have nothing to do with, on principles that are alien to your culture.

It developed without you into a society that you, growing up in China, wanted to become part of even if it meant leaving China behind and moviong here.

Now that you are here, you want us to help you ease your hidden guilt for turning your back on your own people and their glorious 5000 year civilisation and choosing another, utterly un-Chinese country for entirely selfish reasons, to pursue your own, personal, individual interests. You want us now help you to cover up your own secret shame of shunning of your country and are asking us to respect what you couldn't stick with and so left behind.

Don't be silly.

So do you take back what you say about Aboriginals or are you happy to be a major hypocrite?

Australia is not built on the foundation of Aboriginal stone age customs and beliefs. Nor on Chinese customs, nor any other Asian ones.
It is built entirely on British political, legal, cultural foundations. That's what makes it great. That's what makes it superior to Aboriginal, Chinese, Arab, Indonesian, Japanese, African societies.

Strange that all the people from those cultures think exactly the same about their cultures as you do yours...

Bollocks. They all want to come to Anglo countries or at least ape them.

Nobody is imitating the Arabs or the Chinese or the Africans, let alone wanting to migrate to them to soak up their superior legal, political, cultural ways.

You always focus on one side of the problem.

Why not see so many western companies in China?

Right, economics does. Which just shows how disgusting we are to take advantage of these places for financial gains, and then whinge like pathetic babies when they want an equal share.

And what happens when they do? That's right - the "economic" reason ceases to exist.  Look at Europe, look at the US.  I don't know how much longer you can go without facing the truth - societies are a reflection of the people who comprise them.  When people from buggered societies replace the citizens of "good" societies, the previously good society becomes buggered.

And why do you think that is?

China has been around a lot longer, yet it has a sh!t political culture (which it imported from the West in a very large measure)?  What is it about the Chinese - Arabs, Indians etc - that makes them unable to come up with a good political system?

Make a wild guess.

Nobody is imitating us by choice. They have different legal, political and cultural methods but the fact is they produce exactly the same results. Any problem you accuse them of, we do just the same.

You came here, you say, for the political and legal system and not the money and wealth.

Western companies are in China for the money, not for the superior political and legal system that motivated you.

I am looking at your side of the issue.

No they don't. I can't think of one societies that accurately reflects the majority of its peoples.
Sorry but our societies have always been buggered, at least for the majority  Wink

Did your forefather come to Australia for following the culture of Aboriginals ? Did the immigrants on the board of MayFlower is to follow Indian's culture?

There are many different reasons for people to move. You are always living in your superior dream.

yes, but they've been buggered in our own unique way.  If I wanted to live in a country that was buggered in the way that Botswana is buggered, or the way pakistan was buggered I'd move to Botswana or Pakistan.

There is certainly an illusion that it is different here, you obviously are inflicted by it. Of course for a small minority it is different but for the majority no.

What was yours?

What did you find superior in Australia, compared to China?

Can you give me an example then? I honestly cannot think of one society where the important issues reflect the peoples.

Can you think of any problem they 'inferior peoples' bring that wasn't here already?
Australia will be in a similar economic situation soon so don't worry about airfares.

That's true. That's why I come to this forum. And why I want to join the political living here.

I don't hesitate to learn the good part of your culture. at the same time, I keep the good part of Chinese culture too.

Why not?
