That's traditional Aboriginal law, not Australian law.

I've got some news for you: it's traditional AUSTRALIAN Aboriginal law.

It most certainly is "an Australian law".

You asked, and you received.

Australia is a name given to this continent by Matthew Flinders. Australia inherited British law. Aboriginals had no such name for the continent, neither did they have anything like British law. Spearing people in the leg is a tribal traditional that has nothing to do with the traditions we inherited from the British. Whatever the Aboriginals want to call spearing people, it's not Australian law.

Just repeating the same thing doesn't make you any more right than the first time. Live with it.

You asked and you received.

I provided you with "an Australian law".

If you meant "Australian Law", perhaps you should have said so in the first place.

In the future if you're not going to like the answer, I suggest you refrain from asking the question.  Or, better still, ask the correct question in the first place.

I hear-by declare a new law. From now on, the user greggerypeccary must be refereed to as a trolling moron at the beginning of each and every reply directed to him.

As I am Australian, and this is a law, referring to greggerypeccary as a trolling moron is therefore an Australian Law.

The name in English doesn't matter. Australia was there before it is called Australia.

Actually the name "China" is not given by Chinese. China is a name called in English only. In Chinese, it is called 中国 (Zhong Guo) Can you say China is an English country?

Australia is a land with the people living there no matter the name.

You can play with words as much as you like, but words contain connotations and denotations. Australia means more than just a geographical position, it carries with it cultural definitions.
Understand that spearing people in the leg has never been part of Australian law.
Maybe you can do some homework for me, what did the Aboriginals call Australia pre-1788? There were about 2,000 different Aboriginal languages, apparently, so if you can give me 1 or 2 that would be good. Then you can also give me the connotations and denotations of those words. Then we will be able to make a distinction between European interpretations of Australia and Aboriginal ones.

I hope your willing to take the same stance against China. After all, the land mass known as Asia was there long before China claimed its borders within it. If the nation of Australia is inseparable from the continent it inhabits, then the rest of the world including China is in a real mess.

Before you want to say something about China. Please learn some history of China.

However, though the history is different, I believe China is a land with the people living there too.

I never believe the culture of China is a pure culture of any particular part of the people. I always said, the culture of Chinese is mixed by different cultures. It is just called Chinese like the culture here is just called Australian.

BTW, I saw some guys here talk about communism in China. Don't forget that communism is from Germany which is obviously western culture. And communists made most of the violence among Chinese in the past century.
