Qin's wars of unification were a series of military campaigns conducted during the late 3rd century BC by the Qin state against the other six major states (Han, Zhao, Yan, Wei, Chu, Qi) in the territories that later became China. By the end of the wars in 221 BC, Qin had unified most of these states and also conquered some lands south of the Yangtze River.[citation needed] The territories annexed by the Qin became the homeland of the Chinese nation and formed the basis of the Qin Dynasty.[citation needed]

Gosh!  It seems even those peace-loving chinesies weren't averse to a bit of nation-building through conquest.  Shocked

Are you still believe the conquering legally?

Slaughter the people and plunder their land? You are still proud of it?

Do you believe if anyone have the power, they have rights to do it again to Australia, to you?

What you are thinking is same to Talibans.

That's quite an offensive and racist rant there.

China has quite a dark history too... full of violence, ethnic cleansing and ethnic abuses of all kinds.

Therefore, can I do to you what you are doing to us?

For example... Do you believe that the Han people occupy all of China legally?

The Han people slaughtered other peoples of different ethnicity and plundered their home lands. Are you still proud of it?

The Han people still abuse peoples of other ethnicity and demand of them that they deny their culture so as to be Han Chinese... Are you proud of this?

It was a civil war of Chinese.  Actually, Han, Zhao, Yan, Wei, Chu, Qi are some dukes or earls of the previous dynasty Zhou. When Zhou declined, they fight each others until Qin re-united the whole China.

Yes, China have some dark history too. Most of the violence between Chinese.

However, I never be proud of the dark side of Chinese culture.

And I never refuse any criticism of the dark side of Chinese history.

Actually no, they weren't "Chinese" until the sub-groups had been conquered and assimilated.  How could these cultures identify commonly as "chinese" when China didn't even exist yet?

What's your "no" for?

Don't you know they are all the parts of the previous dynasty Zhou?

So China as we know it would not exist were it not for this bloodshed.  And yet you point the finger.

How do you say 'hypocrisy' in Chinese?

That is a lie. China was not re-united in the second century... It had never been united in the first place. Also, the Han view of a united China is far far smaller than that which represents China now.

Finally... The Han Chinese are an ethnic group originating in central China but destined to usurp and destroy all surrounding ethic Asians.... and they are not done yet... Those pesky Tibetans are yet to be 'assimilated'.

Chinese have many violence in the history too. I am never proud of them.

But almost no violence in Chinese history is because of the difference of cultures.

Most of the violence because of the political reasons between Chinese people.

And that's why I believe the political culture of western is better than Chinese.

Please...

What he is talking about is about 221BC, not the second century.

Yes, the map of China is the bequest of Qing (not Qin), the last dynasty in the history of China. However, Qing is not built by original Chinese but Manchu who conquered China in 1644.

Finally, Manchu merged with Chinese in 300 years.

It's not for you to dictate what people should or shouldn't be proud of is it?  Many cultures find glory on the battlefield - are they inferior?

If you really believe China is a communist nation now, you are fooled by the medias of China.

How the officers of a communist nation have billions of dollar? They are not communists, they are monopoly capitalists.

They plunder the citizen of China. And sell China to their allies the huge western companies.
