Of course, people have the rights to criticize any policies.

However, I believe some of the guys who against multiculturalism are because their racism.

People should feel  free to criticize multiculturalism if they don't like it. Just be respectful and leave out the blatant racism. They never asked the Australian people if they wanted it after all.

Some people are racist no doubt. Maybe some people see a future divided Australia with  states built along religious and ethnic lines. Maybe some see our culture and heritage destroyed by multiculturalism. Maybe some Australians have seen the suburbs go down to toilet because because of ethnic violence. Me personally I think it's a bad idea to fill your country up with people that have nothing in common. Division causes wars.

That's the real point. That's why I believe people (Anglo-Saxon, Muslim, European, Chinese, and any other people) should learn how to live with different cultures.

There is always difference. How to avoid the difference to make the division is the main problem we need to solve.

I am not against multiculturalism if the newer cultures are compatible with other cultures it has nothing to do with racism.

Islam is the only incompatible culture we have here, they want their own laws which are not compatible with the Universal declaration of human rights.
Islamic ideology is not compatible with the Universal declaration of human rights.

That said i think the Hindu do a great job with integrating here by making no demands on the host culture to accomodate their beliefs, they are usually employed, they dont get into trouble and if the Hindu ever make headlines they are usually the victims.

We have Chinatown in Sydney which attracts non chinese people for a feed, i have enjoyed many feasts while celebrating the Chinese new year.

Leichardt is known for the Italians,Norton st is vibrant and a credit to the Italian community.

For me Islam is Arab culture which is the only non compatible culture we have in Australia.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

When in Rome, do as the Romans.

I don't think you can improve on that advice.

Australia is not Rome. And I'm not from the nations that Roman conquered.

Do you understand the difference?

Did Roman do as Celtics in Britain?

What you expect is not equal. I believe you understand. You just do not admit because you want to hide your racism.

That's the easiest problem in the world to solve - don't import people from alien cultures en masse.

Three Holders of British passports  tourists (of Pakistani and Somali background) 'armed with flick-knives and knuckles dusters' in custody over Cyprus murder of UK soldier the day before his deployment to Afghanistan

A teenage gang of UK tourists armed with flick-knives and knuckle dusters stalked British soldiers around the night spots of Cyprus while high on drugs and looking for a fight, a court heard today.

Mohammed Abdulkadir Osman told police he was holding the blade that killed 19-year-old fusilier David Collins but claimed he was acting in self-defence. Osman, 19, from London, confessed to buying 11 flick-knives and two brass knuckle dusters in the popular holiday resort of Ayia Napa. He also admitted possession of a quantity of high-strength cannabis.

And he admitted that he and friends Tukki Abbas Shah, 18, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons had had a previous altercation with off-duty soldier Private Collins and three of his comrades before the fatal fight in a nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.

But he maintained that Mr Collins, 19, from Manchester, had 'jumped onto the blade' which Osman had drawn in an attempt to ward off the soldier, who was enjoying a last night out before being sent to Afghanistan.

Race and culture have nuffin' to do wiv nuffin'.

If that, please go back to Europe (while you told me you are not Anglo-Saxon).

Why you or your forefather came to Australia?

Do you understand. I'm here in peace. And you are forcing me to hate you. You are forcing all the people with different cultures to hate you while they are learning the good part of western culture.

But I won't hate you. I just pity you.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Well, AUstralia is not China, either. Or Araby or Italy for that matter.

And if you came to Australia for the Aboriginal cultural enrichment, you shouldn't be on the computer in the big city but out in the country learning bushcraft.

But no.

You came for the Western cultural enrichment. Well, participate in it, you wanted it. You can always be Chinese in China. Be a Roman in Rome and an Australian in Australia.

Anyway, tell us, which culture says we are equal? Chinese or Australian/Western?

Yes, Australia is not China, nor Britain. Australia is Australia with the people from all over the world.

Yes, I like the good part of western culture and learn it. I have my rights and regard my obligation. That's all.

Division in Australia isn't just a white issue you know. People pretty much stick with their own religion, race or culture. You won't see many Chinese letting aussies work in their restaurants in Chinatown Sydney.  Sydney is a very separated Sydney. People not being able to speak english is one of the reasons. The have to live in enclaves to function.

Yes, I agree with the highlight sentence. The problem is not only white people but also Chinese, Muslim and people with other cultures.

However, Chinese restaurants are not good examples. Just like an Australia employer won't recruit me to be a seller. Waiters in Chinese restaurants need to speak Chinese in most conditions. If most of the customers are English speaker, I believe the restaurants will hire more English speaking waiters.

Can I say an employer refuse to accept me as a seller because my poor English is racism? No, I can not.

Anyway, I agree that any races have some racists. We need to be together to against all of them.
