In all seriousness putting the science arguments aside seeing as how both party have committed to the same target how is it those on Tony's side think he is going to do it without costing YOU/US a penny?
9.2 Billion Dollars earmarked to be spent by 2020, where is that money to come from?
How will cutting that much out of the budget NOT going to cost us more?
You go on about the "Trickle down" effect on 500 companies, and if you believe some here that will push a large part of the population into eating dirt, why won't Tony's costs Trickle down?
Do you really think it's just a matter of sacking a few public servants?
Can any give me some sort of detail instead of the broad brushstrokes of "Savings"?

Oh it's easy. Tony will simply sack 1000 in the public sector and he'll get his $9.2 billion. Of course, 3 years later he'll re-hire 20,000 but it'll still count as "savings" and everyone will simply not realise that all of sudden the hospital budget is slashed, HECs is increased and infrastructure goes to a standstill. Then of course private debt will continue to balloon... but it's okay because Tony has "saved" us from $9.90 a week.

Only the incredibly misinformed take that stance. You would seriously need to have little to no knowledge or understanding of climate and the tax to think that way. Simply not true for all on the left, only the uninformed, much like those on the right who keep harping on about how it won't solve climate change. It was never supposed to magically solve the problem. It is simply the first step down the long path.
