Lets be very clear about this you moron Brandt
Gina spent money criticising a tax position that would largely impact her business.
Blanchett is defending a tax position that will not lower global temperature at all
Gina pays Australian income tax - does Cate?
Did she spend her personal wealth or use/extend the company advertising budget therefore depriving shareholders of a larger dividend?
Remember this tax was to reduce small business company tax to 30%, you know those struggling families facing cost of living pressures Tony bangs on about.
Also to build infrastructure to help these large companies get their product to the ships.
Hypocracy thy name is Liberal.
There is no such thing as small business company tax.
Tax rate deductions to companies are a waste of time, because the dividends get passed onto the shareholders, then taxed at their marginal tax rate anyway.
Reductions for small business in the way of company tax rate decreases are just political hogwash because to get the funds out to the actual owners we need to pay it in the form of a dividend.
If that dividend is franked at 28% or 30% its no different at the time for the company, because in the hands of the shareholder is where the real taxation revenue is generated.
Oh, and company tax is already 30%.
