Outcasts

Anyone see it?  It wasn't bad, I suppose it'll do as a replacement for Spooks  Cry.  Hermione Norris doesn't change much in whatever role she takes.  Her main expression seems to be "cat's bum".  Or maybe that's just my interpretation  Smiley.

There's no replacement for spooks:-) Actually Outcasts is okay, but, well not quite okay, it 'shows promise' unfortunately the series was canned before it had time to develop. I saw you 5talked of waiting for repeats of Taggart Dogged. Don't you watch IView? I've practically given up watching direct.

Yes, I was reading elsewhere it was canned.  I forgot to watch it this week, must have fallen asleep in front of something else  Smiley.  No I've never watched iView, am always too worried about exceeding my download limit to watch You Tube videos or anything else.  Besides my TV chair is much more comfy than this one  Smiley.

In case you don't know, IView is free through most servers and doesn't get counted.

Outcasts.

Too much of a contemporary 'political' focus, for my taste, as Sci-fi.
i.e.
This series didn't have to be a Sci-fi based series, to explore the political 'shenanigans' humans always play.

As Sci-fi, i much preferred the 'Firefly' series starring Nathan Fillion [Castle] [and this was another Sci-fi TV series that got 'canned', after only eleven episodes ? ].

I only watch ABC through iView. Watch what you want when you want with no ads. Love it!

Regarding Outcasts, as a concept it's great sci fi. Lots could happen on an unfamiliar planet in terms of climate, weather, biology, zoology etc. But it's been poorly realised as a take on contemporary global issues put under a 'soapy' and 'serialised' microscope.

Although that said... there was the mega white out this week which I haven't finished watching.
