I am sorry about my threads about Oakeshott.

I promise not to make any more Oakeshott threads for at least 2 weeks. I know that I have asked a lot, but it's so important to me. My hatred of him is beyond imagination. I feel so passionate about this. I know that they have annoyed people, and I admit that I have gone overboard, bgut it's just so important to me. Anyway, like I said, no more threads on him for at least two weeks.

No point of getting worked up about Oakeshott, after all he is just another smart politician laughing all the way to the bank due to his nice lucrative parliamentary salary.
The only thing he cares about, is. to get re-elected and as i,am not in his electorate, he doesn't bother to answer any of my correspondence.
The much for Democracy; more likely a Plutocracy.

Agreed, glad you can see it matty, speaks load for who you are. The idea of running one thread per topic is a good one. I will actually get to post a thread one day, i always seem to get beat on subjects and don't want to double up.
