forged in the heart of stars,

That's powerful imagery!!

Hephaistos, son of Zeus, the lame blacksmith of the gods, forged the armour of Achilles and everything else, in the heart of stars.

I like it.

Let the big polluters pollute our atmosphere for free.
That is good for those who like to inhale their left over rubbish.

Big polluters that the government is going to save us from headed by power generation entities which untill a recent spate of wanting to unload them were 100% owned entities of state governments.
They are only going to target the top 1000 biggest polluters when in fact these companies are simply going to pass those charges on to consumers.
As for inhaling their left over rubbish, governments both fed and state are busy shovelling coal (at all time high rates) onto ships to be burnt o/s and contribute to the JOINT atmosphere emmissions without paying a single cent for the carbon emitted. The contribution here is to increase globally CO2 emmissions with our fossil fuels while subsidising their emmissions at the rate of 100%. Mitigation of carbon is only of any effect if there is global reductions.
If you believe the burning of fossil fuels is evil then you should not just support putting a price on it. That is the same idealogical argument as saying child prostitution is OK as long as people pay sufficiently for it. If you are serious that not only involves the non use of all power derived from fossil fuels but all petrochemicals and all oil derivitives as well. You could allways go back to burning whale oil. If you did that then you would "save the world" provided there was no ecological tipping point that we're already past and that someone elsewhere in the world does not take up your slack.
But you won't because you're a bunch of hypocrites.

*Sure....they're anti competitive as any subsidised job is.  It wouldn't be there without the tax payer.  Very damned difficult for a brainwashed collectivist to understand that I know....  (swaggy) *

has anyone bypassed there power meter yet?
just a tip do it before the power box so when they pull your council fuses. they cant accuse you of using thier power. if they cant see it they cant prove it and they got no right too pull your house apart to see where the house is getting power from.

Bloody Moron, what you speak of is incredibly stupid, and dangerous, as well as illegal, and irresponsible, no surprise that a cretinous AGW denier fits into those categories.

Have a look at the denialist bunch here, if their brains were dynamite, they wouldn't have enough to blow their noses.

That's hilarious! Grin The cretin obviously doesn't realise that's how they catch indoor marijuana growers! And the penalty for stealing electricity is greater than for growing the marijuana! Grin

Keep it up dimwit and you'll be going to jail! Grin

No because they're hypocrites cods. They are that convinced that our lifestyle is bringing about the end of the planet as we know it they are prepared to fly all over the world and stay at 5 star resorts on hand wringing conventions and still push for economic growth and say things like "we're going to limit temperature increase to 2 C" without any plan of how this great feat is going to be achieved or even any real intention of doing anything concrete.
They're a bunch of dripping nob ends without a clue.
