Climate Change
May 25th, 2011 at 8:09pm

Well one good thing that has come out of this man made climate change rubbish. power bills are getting so high that I am forced to use my fire place for heat, sure my carbon emissions are much higher now, but I do not have to pay any carbon tax for it.

You are lucky, you get twice the impact on the environment. You get to kill a tree that would take carbon dioxide out of the environment, then you get to burn what carbon it did take out the environment in its lifetime.

Actually, interesting question: will there be carbon tax on firewood? When you burn wood you release the solar energy stored by the organic matter while it was alive - so it is ultimately solar power. Is it going to be tax-exempt?

Come to think of it, coal is concentrated solar energy. All fossil fuels are. So we are going to have a tax on traditional solar energy.

It takes a community lawyer....

sounds just like the gillard /brown plan to me...

tax the mugs that have no choice but to use coal fired power.to force them to stop using it..

whilst selling the same coal to overseas... to make a billion bucks..

seems very hypocritical to me.....imagine how much our footprint would drop... without this HUGE TAX...

if we just stop selling the coal.......

why is it alright for the Chinese to use coal....

and not Australians??????????????????

has anyone bypassed there power meter yet?
just a tip do it before the power box so when they pull your council fuses. they cant accuse you of using thier power. if they cant see it they cant prove it and they got no right too pull your house apart to see where the house is getting power from.

Good point ripper.    If these idiots in government and the green slime keeping them there, bring in a carbon tax,  the so-called big polluters will be forced to move off-shore where there is far less regulation on carbon emissions,  their emissions will be higher, they will pay not tax,  and Australian workers will have no jobs.

Let the big polluters pollute our atmosphere for free.
That is good for those who like to inhale their left over rubbish.

Bloody Moron, what you speak of is incredibly stupid, and dangerous, as well as illegal, and irresponsible, no surprise that a cretinous AGW denier fits into those categories.

Have a look at the denialist bunch here, if their brains were dynamite, they wouldn't have enough to blow their noses.
