jame-e, i'm not conversant with all of Bob Browns thinking. Has he been pushing an argument against foreign ownership of Australian companys ?
Quote: via jame-e; So you believe china to be sensible then? They are currently/will be trialing carbon trading schemes in various parts of their country.
They have also clearly demonstrated an understanding that they need to alter their practices. In part due to the fact that they have severely depleted and poisoned their country, in part due to the possibility that they may infact be sensible.
Do you somehow think that Bob Brown is unaware of the obvious? that people will continue to want and consume coal regardless of what he thinks or Australia does?
"
So you believe china to be sensible then?" ...In certain matters - yes.
"
They are currently/will be trialing carbon trading schemes in various parts of their country." So they say..

China also has Chinese made windpower and solar units doting the Chinese landscape - mainly paid for by by the wests carbon offset funds... smart people them Chinese.. and still they buy up coal mines....
"

As far as i can see that is correct - though i'd say dont confuse China's 'real polution' and environmental concerns with the greens climate hysteria concerns..
"
