So Long And Thanks For The Fish
May 15th, 2011 at 7:56am

Time for me to go. Thanks for all the entertainment, abuse, support.

Began my online activism for The Greens about six months before the 2007 election because Greens were, and still are, the closest politic parties for my desires for this world. And if Howard had got back in, I was planning on shifting back to NZ. A critical moment in time.

Now it is my time to turn back to my own personal/spiritual growth. If the majority of Australians/Humans are happy with extinction, then so be it.

If you are not, then it is time for us to change ourselves. Through this action we change our world.

Good Luck and Good Bye.

Greens if you still want to dicuss politics check this site out

http://aussie-aussie-aussie.proboards.com/index.cgi

As you can see it has more then politics to dicuss and debate on it and I think you would be most welcome to join it.

I am pretty sure that they would accept anyone as members, they do have members from overseas on there so you don't have to be Australian to join.

Bye.

One day I would like to add a greens board to discuss the party. I would like to get a party member or supporter to host it.

Good luck to you  thank you for being such a good poster.  You have helped to show people that there is a good alternative to Labor and Liberal in the Australian Greens.  All the best.    Smiley

Greens politics have a great opportunity in Cuba, Venezuela and the rest of socialist Americas (as well as China) ... when a more democratic path is embraced in the near future.

So am building a base for then.

cods you ask why green_win was leaving just think on how many times members get abuse on here and it is from both side of the divide. I know I give out as much as I recieve but you can only take so much.

That is one of the reason I don't post as much I am sick of getting abuse when I point something out that is right and other members from the other side of the fence don't like it.

That is the job of moderators to deal with. Eliminating the excesses of abusinve behaviour is not that hard. It just isnt done.

longy the one of the forums I belong to has these couple of rules

2. Flaming/Flamebaiting/Trolling

I want no part of any form of flaming, flamebaiting, trolling or any other such behavior. Depending on the circumstances, I'll give something as simple as a warning. Worst case scenario will be a perma-ban. This even applies to people who aren't necessarily apart of the forums. I don't want a hostile environment for potential new members.

4. Slurs/insults

This may seem a bit redundant, but I'm posting this anyway. Any slur, insult or related attack based on a person's minority status (racial, gender, orientation, etc) won't be tolerated. If you wouldn't typically make a comment to someone's face without fear of being beaten, then it's something that you shouldn't say here. Bannings will be effective for such offenses.

6. Alter egos

No need to create multiple accounts. If I catch anyone with multiple accounts, all of them will be deleted.

And if you have a look no one is breaking any of them. The owner of the forum runs a very tight ship with the rules and they are not hard to follow.

which is my point exactly. you can even be more relaxed than those standards and this place would be much better. but there is ZERO moderation and the place suffers as a result.

Just curbing the excessive spammers and abusers would make it a LOT better.

I made the admittedly unproven assumption that when you quoted these rules you were quoting them from a place that actually does it.

If that were not true then why would you post them?
