I didn't see it this week. Personally, I prefered the first season.

Those silly re-enactments are getting to me. And those vox-pops...

Hungry Beast could be a lot better. It's getting a little formulaic.

Nope. Second season definitely shows positive evidence of maturity. And yeah, brilliant show this week.

And another thing: that way they have of constantly talking into the camera with the other speaker waiting to finish what they were saying. Your eyes are always on the one NOT speaking, but looking dumbly straight at you.

This is a show where recent graduates get to lecture you. Constantly. And when "serious" people try to break into a skit, it always falls on its face. The strength of hungry Beast is not its humour.

I find the problem with Hungry Beast is that it HASN'T matured - it's still very stilted, self conscious and uncomfortable.

The first season had some amazing stories, but I haven't seen anything groundbreaking this time around. They don't need the weekly themes. I like the "follow the money idea", but it works strangely on TV. It's not a visual thing.

I think it performs a very necessary role, but Hungry Beast would be much better on radio. Its visuals distract you from what its saying rather than add to it - not good TV.
