So I reckon we need this thread. It was 'The African Queen', Bogie and Hepburn, they don't make 'em like that anymore. So if anything great is coming up somewhere, sometime, give it the nod.

Do try the new drama on ABC tonight - Qld anyway. Thorne.
Wrote a bit on it on the Breaking Bad thread, then remembered this one.

Should be good - if well produced - and seems based on the novels about Thorne by Mark Billingham.
They are pretty creepy, and the first episode tonight seems from the promos to stick reasonably close to his novel - Sleepyhead. Could be good.

Intriguing - with interesting characters - journalism in the 50's in Britain. a time of scandal and cold war machinations..
