Recent news here in seq report from Fraser Island of continuing attacks by Dingos, with children being the targets of these attacks. The Easter holiday, with many people camping there with their children, has produced 2 more.
This - after a boy was killed last year, and 2 successive culls of 'aggressive' Dingos. After QLD authorities took some pretty bizarre measures, to enclose the small local communities, with wire - and grids - unsuccessfully need I say?.
Fraser Island is the largest Sand Island on the planet, and has to some extent, been spared the ravages of the past.. Humans - I mean. So much there is special, its almost a little world on its own. As a result- the Dingos on Fraser are considered to be the purest strain of existing Dingos in the world. Well - think thats so, saw it on ABC.!!
So I want to ask a question. Actually - lots of questions, but how about
What are the reasons that Fraser Island is not claimed entirely as a National Park, and why shouldn't arrangements commence - immediately - to remove the Human foot print.
Not like theres nowhere else to go. So the fishing is great, the family has done it for yrs, so what if the kids are at risk of attack? Time to change - don't you think.?
Time to listen to and SEE what the earth is telling us - all over. Fraser is a good example, in microcosm, of whats happening all over the world.
