suffice it to say mantra i was referring to the highlighted excerpts, also i don't consider a mother who puts her child/ren first and foremost a martyr, i applaud her dedication.

im quite traditional, even at my age, and don't think it right that women have children to various men either....but that is my opinion.

you are right as reguards to different interpretations though and i accept we have.

I think its best for you too admit what happened to your family. That's the best way you can do. accept.

Sorry about the heavy handed moderation, but please cease and desist. (Mod - apologies, but it was getting out of hand)

Muso .. the guy needs to see a professional person for his issues and NOT trust people on here who appear to be friendly .. in order to gain his trust.

Look at the OP FFS .. that alone says it all. He needs to speak to a therapist. The people who've come in here have BIG ISSUES!

And why did you delete YOUR OWN post which basically stated that he should seek professional help?

I'm not taking any sides in personal disputes. I just didn't think it was the place for them.

You have got no right to act as judge and psychiatrist for the members who post here. It is presumptuous and offensive.

I will lock this thread if it becomes an argument session. Let's exercise some restraint and respect for the OP please.

Muso that is fine. The fact remains I spoke the truth and I spoke well.

People in an emotionally vulnerable state facing issues should NOT be revealing these to people who APPEAR to be friendly on PM  .. coz they may very well find that these same people will use the information to emotioally blackmail and control them.

It's something that has happened here and happens a lot.

And it's NOT RIGHT!

Ammad has a lot on his plate ( just look at his own OP) and he is obviously emotionally vulnerable right now.  And who wouldn't be? There is no way I'm gonna just sit back and see some dysfunctional person get into his head behind the scenes using the PM facility in order to take advantage of him.

I have nothing to hide wrt to Amadd .. and anything I have to say to him I will say it on HERE .. before everyone.

The ones who keep PMing him in order to manipulate and play games with his mind do have something to hide. I don't.

And I am speaking the truth, I am speaking from experience and I am speaking from the heart.

It's never happened to me, nor anyone else I know from these forums and Amadd is quite capable of making his own decisions as to who and how he communicates with people as are we all.

A lot of these members who you refer to as insane, crazy and in need of professional help have been posting together on the same forums for years and have built up trust with each other.

I will always commend those members, who appear to disturb you, for the fact that they are refreshingly honest and always have been. If you can't be yourself anonymously on a forum without being told you're crazy - where can you do it?

One man's insanity is another man's sanity! Sometimes people come here just for advice - not to be certified.

Amadd wrote on Apr 22nd, 2011 at 6:49am:
I need to admit to it.

My parents seperated/ divorced when I was 12 yrs of age and I never really got over that.

I was on the cusp of puberty and I had bigger things on my mind than my parents deserting my forwarding needs.
As so happened, I come across a very sticky situation at 12 yrs of age where I had to identify a shooter who put another guy in a wheelchair for life.

My mother was totally ignorant of my situation 'cause she was way too busy smacking that other dude who split our family.

After all of of the court cases..all the way to the supreme court, the shooter got off 'cause of lack of evidence.
I was left to watch him watching me almost every other day.

I kept a rifle on my lap for at least two years, I listened intently for every sound..I rarely slept properly. My faith was in my faithful dog.

Since then, I have travelled the world and enjoyed myself ..it's nice to not have a worry.

Upon getting back from my travels, I developed a nice relationship with my grandmother who also enjoyed travelling and sharing experiences.
Then my mother buts in and insists on cleaning my floor and doing stuff that is a bit personally insulting.

She wasn't around when I was holding a gun on my lap...she was no use to me then.

I don't really want her around so much...she should get over it. It's not my prob.

I sense resentment from you and guilt from her... both of which are perfectly understandable and normal given the circumstances.

You seem to have a good relationship with your Grandmother... if she is a reasonable woman with empathy... talk to her about your struggles to come to terms with your mother's mistakes.
