Hanson may win because of Greens: Albanese

If Pauline Hanson is elected to the NSW upper house the Greens' refusal to preference Labor is to blame, Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese says.

Ms Hanson is locked in a tight race with the Greens and Labor for an upper house seat.

The minor party cost Labor half a dozen seats at last weekend's poll because it would not preference Labor, Mr Albanese said.

"It is possible this week Pauline Hanson could be elected to the NSW upper house because of the failure of the Greens party to do a preference swapping deal with NSW Labor in the upper house," he told Sky News on Sunday.

Labor had warned the Greens about the potential outcome ahead of the poll but the minor party had not listened, Mr Albanese said.

"The Greens party said 'we know better, preferences never get counted in the upper house'.

"Well guess what, we're down to one spot, there's three potential outcomes - the Greens party, Labor and Pauline Hanson."

I can't stand the loopy Greens but this is sooooooooooooo funny.  Poor Albasleezie, poor diddums....................I guess he knows he and his incompetent, lying Party's days are numbered.  There is no honour among thieves as they say.  Perhaps Albasleezie needs to have a look at the REAL reason Labor are in so much trouble.........................EVERYWHERE.

Isn't it so funny that Juliar is now having a real go at the Greens, calling them 'extremists' (her favourite mantra lately), and lacking no coherent Policy.  Didn't she know that before she made a formal contract with the Greens?  LOL.  Just shows how stupid she and her mates really are.

IF YOU LIE DOWN WITH DOGS, YOU WILL GET UP WITH FLEAS.  In this case, fleas that bite really hard.  Suck it up Juliar, you deserve it  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

Well even though I despair at the thought of how desperate a public must be, to see Ms Hanson actually being voted into public office again, I cannot blame the Greens for not preferencing Labor in NSW.
NSW Labor is a train wreck, and they got what they deserved from the public, and from the Greens, and instead of trying to deflect criticism away from their own failings, they should be mercilessly pruning the inept and corrupt members who led them to this point.

Keating had pretty stern criticisms of them, when interviewed on the 7:30 report last week, and warned that they did not seem willing, even after such a massive public rebuff, to rid themselves of the negative elements within the state party machine.

This is the classic "stuck between a rock and a hard place" or "caught between the devil and the deep blue sea"

The Greens know that Labor is the Devil in NSW. Preferencing Labor in this election will carry the stigma into the next election.

But if the Greens preference Pauline - she's not much better than the devil

Bill 14% is not the alcohol content of that wine. It's your poll number

Very true, mozza. if NSW labor hasnt gotten the message yet exactly what will it take? perhaps they need to lose ALL their seats before they get the point that they have serious issues. The Greens took a proper decision not to preference Labor. no party should have preferenced them at all!

Also Grayndler, is a potential electorate for The Greens ... and the current representative ... Mr Albanese

Join the dots and Labor is scared of losing another federal seat ... considering they preferenced Family First and allowed Steve Fielding in, Labor has no moral ground to stand on.
