It is the internet for crying out loud.

Report her as a troll Frenchy - because that's what she is. She's only here to cause trouble.

Now there is 3 mins of my life I am never getting back.

What a positively waste of bandwidth this thread is.

Seriously who gives a toss who is writing as who!

No it's not, this is. Grin Grin Grin Grin
Sorry, that is a little Mod joke, muso locked the thread, obviously to put an end to the silliness of so many of the replies here, but I think that the point that Lias was making is an important one that we should take the trouble to make ourselves aware of.

A while ago here on OzPolitic, somebody thought it funny to register as mozzaok1, and then make post that expressed some very extreme and tasteless views that were pretty much the exact opposite of my own core values.
It provoked a few people to contact me and inquire as to what the hell I was thinking, as they did not notice the 1 appended to my nick, and so believed that I had made the offensive post.
I was annoyed at both the pettiness, and cowardice of the person involved, and so I can fully empathise with others who feel they have been either duped, or misrepresented, by such pathetic, cowardly actions.
So, I think we should all be aware that there are some people whose personal idiosyncrasies may inspire them to try and create havoc and confusion, and try and be alert to the fact that it is easy to create a new nick, so if something is posted that seems out of character, double check if it is actually made by the person you think it is, or by some pathetic clone, clown.

Now that is the final word, I will relock this now, as I agree with muso's instinct that it is a topic that may just attract too many personal attacks.

Very good points Mozz. Now I'll finally lock the thread and throw away the key because I really wanted to have the last word Tongue
