True but was she aware of the facts that Nail & I posted?

Nail,
I think it's time you posted some more
of those inquisition torture tools photos.

These facts are also irrelevant and if she was aware of them are the same.  You have no proof she would have changed her mind otherwise.  Your facts mean nothing.

What I find funny is neither of you have bothered to actually bring up anything against this particular church and instead point to things that are happening overseas many years ago.  Its like holding all Musliums to account for the actions of a few crackpot terrorists.

Their "facts", along with their accusations and innuendo, are completely worthless.  Their hysterical ravings conjure up visions of a mad, glassy eyed, inquisition priest condemning everyone for heresy. Or in their case, "hairy see".

Hi Nail,
Try & find more graphic ones this time.
We want the messsage to sink in.

If the message is that you are both uneducated, uninformed and in love with each other then the mesage has already arrived.

Don't write defamatory statements.
You know that I don't appreciate gays.

You are the one who is uneducated.
You know nothing about the catholic 600 year inquisition where falling
into their hands was a fate worse than death.
You haven't read the book about The Pope covering up
child sex abuse or the other one from Dawkins about the God delusion.
You have not acknowledged any of the evidence placed before you here
on this forum - you haven't even watched the youtube videos
or looked at the torture tool photos.
Nothing seems to get through your thick skull.
You are as usual - unworthy of debate.

It's the Catholic Church!
Gee wizz - it took you 88 pages to work that out.
The leader is called "The Pope" & he is infalliable.
That means that he has the supernatural ability
of being incapable of error.
All Catholics believe that.

The Church is the Order of the Capuchin Franciscan Fathers  in Hawthorn, Melbourne Australia.
I don't have any dirt on them.

Verge - I forgot whether or not you answered the questionaire?

here it is again & Longweekend got the wrong answers.
See how you go now - o.k.?

Quote:
Is the Catholic church greedy?
Do they take advantage of old people to get their inheritance?
Do they have a long history of theft?
Did the 600 year inquisiton happen?
Was the current Pope involved in covering up sexual abuse?
Does the Catholic Church have huge amounts of gold bullion & money
stashed away in Switzerland & other places?
Do they hoard property instead of selling it & giving it to the poor?
Do they use the threat of eternal torment by hellfire to blackmail people?

Yes or no to each question.

Who cares when plenty of others have. I mean when someone or something that is supposed to be Gods representative has a bad track record of child sexual abuse then I must be missing something here because how can this ever occur in the first place ??

Thats odd because the The Church is the Order of the Capuchin Franciscan Fathers  in Australia has had no such allegations you speak of

Answering for Nail -
True - no dirt on them yet.
Didn't you read what I said?

What about those questions - are they really that hard for you to answer?

By the way - you can the book called -
The Case of the Pope: Vatican Accountability for Human Rights Abuse
by Geoffrey Robertson QC

It doesn't matter because the church is run by the Vatican and they have a reputation of harbouring pedophiles. All financial matters are dealt with by the Vatican. The Vatican will be organizing the legal team to defend the will in court. The Vatican will have knowledge of everything that goes on in that church. It's run like a corporation from the top down Wink

Firstly, your questions are irrelevant, because at no stage do they address the rights of a woman to gift her assets to anyone she sees fit.

Secondly, The Church is the Order of the Capuchin Franciscan Fathers
in Australia has had no such allegations you and nail speak of.

Just because the Pope has failed to act appropiratley doesnt mean those on the ground floor should suffer.  I dont hold all Americans responsible for the actions of George Bush and their government for their actions on Iraq do I.

Oh and nail, all Churches in Australia must undergo an audit program every year to keep their charity status, and must report to ASIC accordingly.  It is not undertaken by the Vatican and it is not all hush hush like you claim.

Go on Verge - get that book.

My questions are about history.
If we don't learn from history we are condemned to repeat it.
Nail & I would have been burnt at the stake for blasphemy 500 years ago
& people are still being hanged in Iran for it now.
Religion is what I don't like in all it's forms.
