You well know that you have made other unsubstantiated accusations. The fact that you choose to omit these from your list is proof of your willingness to deceive, and the weakness of your argument.
FYO giving money to the poor (investing in poverty), creates more poverty.
It appears that giving money to the church doesn't seem to help the poor that much either when you look at all of the assets and money they have stashed away

What on earth did St Vincents have money lying about in Lehman Brothers bank before it went bust and they lost the whole lot ??

ALMOST a year after the subprime debt crisis emerged in the United States, the same financial products which have exposed NSW councils to hundreds of millions of dollars in potential losses are threatening charities, churches, children's hospitals, nursing homes and dozens of councils across the nation.
Gosford City Council is one of the worst affected: it faces having a $74 million portfolio wiped out.
The Herald has obtained information about the Australian accounts and investments of the Wall Street investment bank Lehman Brothers, which shows St Vincent De Paul Society, the Starlight Children's Foundation, the Boystown charity for underprivileged children, and the Anglican, Baptist, Uniting and Catholic churches all hold structured finance products. Many may now be worthless.
Remember what the bible says about wealth, but the church does the complete opposite like it has never read the bible !!
Quote:Matthew 6:19
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Luke 14:33
Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.
Matthew 6:24
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Money.
Matthew 19:21
Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Phil 2:3
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
Acts 2:44-45
All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
