It has be mention that many times on here that the ex ALP members have been found guilty of sex crimes I am just pointing out that it happens on both sides of politics.

The right wing is not as lily white as they made out.

I don't support any of it BTW

CHILD sex crimes and also in australia (you know the country we actually live in???) the ALP has a stellar lead in such behaviour.

You all rave on about sex crimes that ex ALP member have been found guilty of but when one of your side is found guilty you won't admit it.

Unfortunately Jack the fact is that people's political leanings do not necessarily make them either better, or worse, than anyone else, and to try and imply otherwise is a little foolish.
We have seen more "criminal" behaviour, especially sex crimes, from ALP members in recent history, so no matter the fact that you may think left leaning politics is more compassionate, or empathic, towards those in need, individuals that espouse noble intentions, can still behave most ignobly indeed.
I think that the ALP could do a lot better in ridding itself of people who behave illegally, or inappropriately, and could learn a lesson from what the Israelis have done, in showing no fear or favour and treating this man as any other citizen, liable to the judgement of the laws of the land.
People that abuse a position of power and trust, should be dealt with harshly by the law, irrespective of their political allegiances.
