We all know what the solution is, John Howard solved the problem.

But Gillard will do everything and anything than admit to Howard being correct.
In the meantime Australia will get more and more boat people every week. And any that are refused can appeal, and even then they can appeal again.
So after these illegals go through the court merry go round they will end up staying here, regardless of whether they are genuine or not.

Learn to suck eggs Gillard and re-instate the Pacific Solution, Naru is pleading to help, everything is set up there!

Tony Abbott has been spruiking his bogan slogan  "stop the boats"
He does this knowing that he doesn't have to.  He doesn't even
have to have a policy - just a slogan. And you support this thickfenstein?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

oh gawd slogans  is veg really joooooooolia?? ,, now Abbott said!! Abbott didnt do!! wouldnt be a slogan or chant would it...

veg have you got any figures on what it cost US to house these asylum seekers on the mainland and throw in Christmas Island as well..for that matter.. we never seem to get any figures on that..wonder why.,.

why is the Labor govt keeping these two island going.. $27million isnt a lot to the labs we know that.. but still your complaining about them housing 5000 and costing that... now they are housing 8 and its still costing $24mill per year..maybe I am missing something..but unless the govt comes clean on what it is costing us at this very moment to keep these people in luxury... yes,,,,,,, it is that compared to what they have come from..so tell us veg.. I am very interested in that figure.. I think I know a lot of people that will be.

Its not racism, its a total lack of humanism.

Of which both sides are equally guilty.

Dont know how it is lack of humanism....is thats a word.

But these illegals really arent genuinely looking for help or assistance when they by pass som many other willing countries that they could easily have docked in.
When a person is drowning or starving do you really care which boat comes to the rescue or what food is offered?

While seeking election, Prime Minister Gillard promised to "stop the boats". She has failed, and boats regularly ignore Australian law.

Julia Gillard has failed the Australian people terribly on this issue.

Gillard has done very little to help the asylum seekers. Abbot has done even less, he can't even get his boat phone operational.

It's time to ditch the stale old parties. Bob Brown and the Greens are our only chance for a truly humanitarian Australia.

she also said.. THERE WILL BE NO CARBON TAX BY MY GOVT...

so what else does anyone believe from this fake.???

these boat people are paying huge money to criminals to come here via the back door..that in itself is a crime as far as I am concerned...

if someone bought drugs in Indonesia from a criminal.. and then tried to bring them into this country via a rickety boat..would you be okay with that?...after all the drug smugglers are poor people only tring to make a living arent they?...

these people have no papers. have no visa.yet they have money!!!!! if the bleeding hearts were campagning as hard for those is horrifying camps I might believe their sincerity. in the mean time this is the real world..this is not the right way to come to our country!
