Grouphug! Everyone is right! Yay!!

You know the Chesterton insight: those who don't believe in god do not believe in nothing - they believe in anything.i

Agreed, but I am beyond pretending I know what exactly god is.
God is the start of something and probably the end. Exactly what, I am not sure. I will not pretend otherwise. There is definitely something and I am brave enough to admit I don't know what it is. I have stood in what a lot say is his presence. There was definitely something.  It took me along time to come to the realisation that I don't have to know what god is to believe that there is something. You are right, it is very personal.

Yes it is! Oh and I enjoyed reading your post. Thank you for being so honest, frank and sincere.

Kind regards

It would probably be a good subject for a new thread for people to talk about their personal experiences with God or spirituality. l guess most of us, except the least sensitive, experience 'something' but we don't all call it God.

We have an enthusiastic moderator who could probably help by weeding out cynical over-critical posts. It's a very personal subject for many, and the last thing we want is derision. Some people might actually learn something from the process. I don't know. Maybe this board is too hostile for such a subject.

You call it God. I don't call it anything other than life and a sense of wonder within me. Either way, it's pretty awesome.

LMAO!!!!

Oh and Muso .. I totally agree with your idea about starting that new thread too!

Whenever you're ready Smiley
