Greens will block uranium mining. and their next target will be coal mining which they have often stated is just as bad.

Welcome to the world YOU voted for...

It's laughable, should make for a most entertaining parliament. I have finally figured out a way for them to recover the deficit. They should start selling tickets for what I think could be likened to jelly-wrestling in parliament.

Roll Eyes....   I can see very little getting done here, she made the deal with the Greens, did what ever it took to win the election at all cost, though I have a feeling it will prove to be all too much for her in the long run, though ultimately, the Greens and the Independents will be forced take the blame for her minority government having failed, naturally.

My god, we don't even have a minister for education, I think this just about says it all.

Will people even know who to complain to?

The whole things a joke. Roll Eyes

Do the Greens want alternatives to coal or do they want to block uranium? They have to make a choice. They can't have their cake and eat it too.

Is that Yellow cake?

If so, I think you may find most will have difficulty swallowing that!

That said, in term of Power generation, it can not come down to a choice between
2 evils.

Coal
, along with Oil & Gas are all on the endangered list, they are all listed to run out in the not too distant future, so we have to get off of them.

Uranium
is also on that endangered list, but it can also have some nasty short term dangers, as well as some long term issues!

The only choice to make is whether WE get off the endangered list and start down a new path OR whether we are forced to choose between the better of 2 bad choices.

A little like Politics, isn't it!

Collectively speaking, this is what happens when two lefts, come together and lead a nation.

Australia wanted balance, now all they will get is a pack of radicals destroying our economy making  international fools of us all.

The independents harness the balance of power, but they appear quite happy to sit on their thrones playing negotiator swindling what they can.

Truth is, we couldn't have voted in a worse government, now perhaps after this, Australia may wake up and take their politics a little more seriously....but I wont hang by my neck  Roll Eyes

Well, actually it could be worse, if the Libs got back, we could all be having morning tea, with Yellow cake, instead of scones!
